Our Knox County PTAs and PTSAs are important to the Center! The Clothing Center is largely dependent upon clothing drives conducted through the PTA and PTSA schools twice each year. The Knox County Council PTA encourages the PTAs and PTSAs in our area to support the Clothing Center through the clothing drives (twice each year) and by requesting annual monetary donations. These schools help in providing the many gently used items that are distributed at the center along with the new items.
You too can help! Individuals, businesses and other organizations are encouraged to donate at any time - items are continually needed. Any group may conduct their own clothing drive at their own designated time.
Honor Someone Special - Donate on their behalf! Honors/Memorials/Gifts: Individuals or groups may wish to honor or memorialize someone special by contributing funds to the Clothing Center on their behalf. You can also establish a perpetual gift from an estate - this can be done through the use of a codicil form that can be obtained upon request at the Clothing Center. |

INCOME - MONETARY & CLOTHING:
· Monetary — Annual allocations from United Way of Greater Knoxville, Knox County Government, plus proceeds from the Mynderse Trust Fund, are supplemented by donations from schools, PTAs/PTSAs, PTOs, civic clubs, individuals, businesses and other interested groups. · Clothing — We accept new and gently used clothing in any size and from anyone. |
