Use the council newsletter to keep PTA members aware of local issues and to report on relevant state and federal developments. 3. Submit resolutions that address problems, situations or concerns which affect children and youth and require action for a solution. 4. Attend Tennessee PTA Legislative Days in Nashville, in February and Pertinent Months. TN PTA will host several legislative days throughout the year, as they are pertinent to particular bills and issues of PTA interest. This is new this year and therefore still in the planning process. Visit their website for more info. 5. Legislate for children and youth and submit your Legislation report for the Tennessee PTA Legislation Award by the January deadline. 6. Contact the KCCPTA Legislative Chairman for help if needed. |
